From Idea to Publication: A Practical Research Workshop Series

Workshop Inaugural Ceremony

7th September 2026: Marked the successful commencement of Inaugural ceremony of the 1st ever 4 days Research Workshops Series: “From Idea to Publication: A Practical Research Workshop Series” in a public sector university organized by the Centre of English Language & Linguistics (CELL), Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro.

Day 1 featured two highly informative and engaging sessions:

🔹 Session 1: “Qualitative Research: From Questions to Insights”
by Prof. Dr. Abdul Hameed Panhwar, Professor of Applied Linguistics, Institute of English Language & Literature, University of Sindh.
🔹 Session 2: “Quantitative Research: From Rationale to Practical Approaches”
by Prof. Dr. Sanaullah Ansari, Professor of Applied Linguistics, Institute of English Language & Literature, University of Sindh.

This is the first ever workshop series in a public sector university of consecutive 4 days including 8 sessions by dignified Professionals in the field of research. This series grounds for research platforms and environments that will uplift research quality and culture across Sindh.

Both sessions provided valuable hands-on learning, practical research insights, and deeper understanding of qualitative and quantitative research approaches, making the first day a truly enriching academic experience.

A heartfelt thank you to the respected and visionary Workshop Chair Dr. Sahiba Thaheem and the dedicated Workshop Coordinators Mr. Fayaz Chandio and Mr. Zakaullah Korejo for their efforts, vision, and meticulous arrangements in bringing together such an insightful research initiative.
